Volunteering is Fun and Educational!

We couldn't hold a clinic/competition without VOLUNTEERS!  It takes at least 10 volunteers per weekend to make a competition run smoothly.  Many have called about auditing a clinic/competition asking how much it costs.  With NVRHA it costs nothing!  Our experience has been that once you come to watch, you will be registering for the next one.  BUT, why not make your auditing experience a fully worthwhile one for you and for the participants by volunteering during the competition on Sunday.  By diving in to help, not only will you learn new skills but you will be closer to the action.  We offer a free lunch to those who sign up ahead of time to volunteer for the day.

Setting up the trail course
Setting up and serving lunch
Photographer (camera provided)
Gate person
Score tabulator (requires some training)
Handing out water to participants and clinicians
Greeters
Cattle Manager
Timer
Announcer
Runners
Scribing for the judge (requires knowledge of events and score sheets)
